  1. Use these weights myself sometimes and have to say it's a great two in one and am far far from disappointed with these, they always release

  2. Top leads and top relase sistem can't fault them at all

  3. If I'm using a long rod and fixed spool set up, I find these keep the trace clipped down until the lead hits the water. The release of the line when you cast with this set up causes a momentary jerk as your finger lets the line go and this is the only clip I've found to hold the hook in place every time. Would like to see a version that will take bigger hooks in the future though.

  4. Sadly this should be one of the best baits clips around but I have had more non releases that releases. I have used all manor of sized hooks as well. In fairness I have been using flat backed leads that may well be the reason for the release failure. But for me I will not be using them again.

  5. As with all Gemini products a quality item that does the job well.. The grippers clip in place and hold well it a strong tide, although the channels that house the clipped grippers can sometimes need cleaned out of sand and grit. You are limited to the hook size you can use effectively with the splashdowns, depending on the hook brand you are lucky to get anything over a 4/0 to fit in the clip. A pricey lead that wouldn't be very economical for a rough ground fisherman, but for clean ground with a bit of tide you won't get much better

  6. Keeps the bait clipped ideal when pendulam casing or off the ground never fail to release
