Had mine about 3 years now, good casting tool, nice retrieve rate, takes a fair amount of hammer, I tend to fish reel up and have found no problems with it here.

Every one I no has owned a slosh or are still using them probably the most low maintenance reels out there just wash it of after every use and it will last you a life time

If you're looking for a no nonsense reel for rough ground work and don't want to spend a fortune, this is the reel for you.
The gear box does protrude slightly if casting up the butt and can potentially hamper your thumb gripping the spool, but by casting down the butt you can get a far better purchase on the spool if going for a big cast. They cast well and the ratchet is probably one of the nicest you will hear.

The old classic work horse
Not sure the spools are as strong as they used to be but the still take plenty of abuse from Bristol Channel fishing
Great reels for the money
