  1. Could start by saying how deceptively powerful the rod is, but its not deceptive with a great name like century behind it you know the rod is going to be up to the challenge.I fish Chesil with the rod in strong tides and high winds and it does a fantastic job of standing up to the conditions. 5oz Whole squid full power pendulum is no trouble for this rod, absolutley love it. The bite detection is next level as well, a pout 3 inches long caught at 150 yards looks more like bass bite than a minnow, cant fault great work century

  2. A stunning light weight surf rod i use mine when roaming the edge of the coast line very capable of handling its rated casting weight and with amazing bite indication there is no other rod in its class to compete well done to Century and Jeremy Schrader on this Beauty

  3. Stunning clean ground rod, easy casting, very good bite indication.. the very slim and light blank feels great in the hand and is a joy to use. Century have really upped their game the last few years and producing some great rods.

  4. My favourite rod for estuary work. You can really feel a 4-5lb Bass on this! It's power is actually deceptive. I tend to fish 3-5oz on it and it is comfortable with any of this. Very easy to compress and because of the super slim blank there's never a problem getting your thumb over the spool of a multi - though it's pretty good with fixed spool too when built with KWAGS. I've landed Ray to 10lb on this rod.

  5. Dont be decieved by the slim blank this is a wolf in sheeps clothing. Very light great bite detection and surprisingly powerful, one of my fav all time rods. It's a great price for a great rod. It casts effortlessly and very user friendly. You can feel everything the fish is doing a 5lb Cod is great sport and alot of fun.
